This privacy policy applies to the Klaverjas Club app for iPhone and Android and to the website klaverjas.club.

Who we are

The app and website are made by NT Engineering (sole proprietorship), registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42148121. NT Engineering is responsible for processing your data. You can reach us at [email protected].

Playing against the computer

You don't sign in anywhere for this and nothing is sent to our servers. Your games, settings and lesson progress are stored on your phone. The app also keeps your statistics (games played and won) in iCloud (iPhone) or Google Play Games (Android), under your own Apple or Google account, so you get them back on a new phone. We have no access to them.

No ads, no tracking

The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking services. We don't track you across other apps or websites.

Game Center (iPhone) and Google Play Games (Android)

For achievements and leaderboards the app uses Apple's Game Center (iPhone) or Google Play Games (Android). Your scores and achievements are then sent to Apple or Google under your name there and are visible to other players on the leaderboard. Apple and Google process this data under their own privacy policies: Apple's and Google's. We receive nothing from Apple or Google for achievements and leaderboards; what we store for online play is described below. You can turn Game Center off in your iPhone Settings, and Google Play Games in the Play Games app.

Online play

For online play you sign in automatically with Game Center (iPhone) or Google Play Games (Android); our server asks Apple or Google who you are. You don't create a password. To seat you at a table, we store:

• your player name: your name in Game Center or Google Play Games (you can't change it with us);
• the identifier Game Center or Google Play Games uses for you;
• which tables you sit at and the results of your finished games;
• the moves at a table while the game is in progress.

We don't receive or ask for your email address. Your player name is visible to the other players at your table. We use this data only to provide online play (performance of our agreement with you).

This data is stored at Cloudflare, where our server runs, which processes it on our behalf. To prevent abuse, such as too many sign-in attempts, we briefly look at your IP address; it is not stored.

Crash reports

If you've chosen on your phone to share analytics with developers, Apple or Google may send us anonymous crash reports. They don't say who you are.

The website

klaverjas.club uses no tracking or advertising cookies, no analytics and no external fonts.

How long we keep data

• Data on your phone: until you erase it or delete the app.
• Your statistics in iCloud or Google Play Games: until you erase them there or delete your account in the app.
• Your data for online play: until you delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account) or ask us to erase it. We then immediately erase your player name, tables and results.

Your rights

You may ask us which data we hold about you, and have it corrected, deleted or exported. Email [email protected]; we respond within one month. How to erase your online data is explained on the support page. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and asks no one for personal data to play against the computer. For online play you sign in with Game Center or Google Play Games, and the age rules of Apple and Google apply.

Changes

If something changes in the app that affects your data, we will update this policy and the date at the top.
